How Partner Referrals work
Partner Referrals lets you reward a partner for referring other influencers, affiliates, and publishers to join your partner program.
There are 2 reward structures you can set for Partner Referrals:
- Flat fee
- Percentage-based
Flat fee rewards
The simplest way to get started with Partner Referrals is via flat fee rewards – e.g. "Pay a flat fee of $20 when referred partner is approved"
Alternatively, you can also set a minimum "earnings threshold" that the referred partner has to reach before the referring partner will get rewarded:
Percentage-based rewards
Another popular referral strategy is percentage-based, where the referring partner will earn a percentage of the referred partner's sales or commissions.
For example, you can set your partner referral reward at 10% of all sales that the referred partner brings in:
In this scenario, if the referred partner brings in $500 in sales, the referring partner will earn $50.
Alternatively, you can also set this to be a percentage of the referred partner's earned commission:
In this case, if the referred partner earns $200 in commissions, the referring partner will earn $20.
